Lafayette---Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Carney Funeral Home in Lafayette, LA, for Mr. Darren Anthony James Domingue, 51, who died March 24, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Fr. Chester Arceneaux, Pastor of St. John Cathedral Catholic Church will be officiating the funeral services.

Mr. Domingue was born July 9, 1960 in Abbeville, Louisiana and was raised in Duson, LA by his parents, Annie Rose Tabb and Curley Charles Domingue.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 25 years Maria Isabella Riggs Domingue, three daughters: Jamie Davis of Carencro, Annie Teresa Domingue, and Cecelia Eva Rose Domingue all of Lafayette; two sons: Darrell Anthony James Domingue, and Curley Paul Domingue both of Lafayette, LA; one brother: Charles Domingue of St. Martinville, LA; one sister: Betty Lou Thomas of Atlanta, GA; one grand-daughter: Ja'zelle Domingue of Lafayette, LA; one daughter-in-law: Christina P. Domingue of Lafayette, LA; one nephew: Harris Lee Domingue of Maurice, LA and six sister-in-laws, Erita Domingue of Carencro, LA and Darlene Mautrin of Youngsville, LA, Ovenia Bossier of Lafayette, LA, Karen Moses of Hollywood, CA and Stephanie Barras of St. Martinville, LA, LA, LA; Mary Riggs of Amarillo, TX; mother-in-law: Marion Barriere of Grand Coteau, LA; step-father in law: Allen Barriere of Grand Coteau, LA; devoted friends: Terrace “Chief” Edwards and Corks Bliss of Corks of Lafayette, LA, Harold Comeaux of Duson, LA, Ronald Mouton of Ridge, LA, and Castlee Andrus of ABC Bonding, Scott, LA and Eric and Moses Thompson both of Lafayette, Attorneys Darrell McCormick, John Milton and Patsy Miller.

His hobbies were doing auto mechanic work, fighting chickens, shooting pool, fishing, hunting and dominos. He also enjoyed going to bingo, the racetrack, raising pit bulls and going to the casinos. He brought joy and tears to others with his witty sense of humor.

He was proceeded in death by his mother: Anna Rose Tabb; father: Curley Charles Domingue; one brother: Randy Lee Domingue; one son: Samuel (Sam) Cornelius Domingue; grandmother: Estelle Creduer; grandfather: Gilbert Tabb and grandmother: Emerite Moore Domingue; two aunts: Lou Ella Domingue Gabus, Eva Rose Tabb Breaux; four uncles: Nelson (Dick) Domingue, Leorin (Mustache) Domingue, Paul Domingue, Elwood Domingue; godfather: Dallas Lagneaux; father-in-law: Joseph Elmore Riggs, brother-in-law: Duke Allen; one nephew: Joseph (Nooney Boo) Saul Moses and cousin: Bonnie Trahan Breaux.

Visitation will be observed at the funeral home, Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
