He married ELIZABETH HOWE January 16, 1815, daughter of CYRENIUS HOWE and SARAH TYRELL. She was born March 18, 1798 in Windsor, Broome County, New York, and died April 04, 1878.
Notes for DAVID BALDWIN:
When he was about thirteen years old his parents moved to the town of Greene, Chenengo, New York. he probably got most of his education in the common schools in Hubbardtown. He learned the shoe-makers trade and at an early age it is said he quit the shoe-makers trade to engage in farming, and followed that the rest of his life. A census taken in the town of Summit, Schoharie County, New York, taken as of July 1, 1825, showed David Baldwin and family living there as of that date. A deed date March 12, 1836 indicates he was then in possession of a farm in the town of New Scotland, Albany County, New York. He remained in New Scotland until 1867, when he removed to Stillwater, Saratoga County, N. Y., where his son Dexter bought a farm, and David and Elizabeth lived with Dexter until their death.
