BINDER--David, of Manhattan. A businessman, scholar, adventurer, and the consummate family man, much loved by his wife (Muriel), daughters (Sara Hamilton and Ellen Dubner), sons-inlaw (Doug and Stephen) and grandchildren (Ethan, Annie, Solomon and Anya). He had a great curiosity for life and an even greater warmth, leaving his mark on everyone who met him. The world's best grandfather, to be sure, but also a great friend, advisor, thinker, and doer. He will be missed terribly and celebrated for years to come. The funeral will be held on Sunday, October 7, at 11:30am, at Congregation Emanu-El, 5th Avenue at 65th St., Manhattan. Contributions in his memory may be made payable to Columbia University and sent to: Division of Pediatric Rheumatology, Children's Hospital of New York, 3959 Broadway, Suite 106 North, NY, NY 10032. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/nytimes/obituary.aspx?pid=95594306...
