About David Bransby

David Bransby enlisted on 6th June 1940 and went to Egypt with the 4th Reserve M. Company. He then went to Palestine and Syria and was transferred to the 2nd reserve M.T. Coy in Egypt and was renamed th 15th General Transport. David was taken prisoner in Libya by the Germans on 2nd February 1942 and was POW until the end of the war.
