• ********************************* David Cornelius Voth, was born 25 October 1836 in Karlswalde, Volhynia; he was baptized 6 June 1854 in Karlswalde, Volyhnia. He was grandson of Tobias Cornelius Jantz born (4 Feb 1783) in Jeziorka, Prussia and Susanna D. UNRUH born (1 Oct 1790) in Prussia. He was born to Cornelius Jacob Voth and Helena T. U. Jantz he died 10 April 1910 in Meno, Oklahoma. He is buried in the New Hopedale Cemetery in Meno, along side his wife of many years, Maria P.Jantz, daughter of Peter H. Jantz and Katherine Unruh. They immigrated on 9 January 1875 on the ship, Kenilworth from Russia to America, landing in Philadelphia. The ship they had started out on, The Abbotsford, had to turn back, delaying their trip.Known child:Katharina Voth Born 30 Sept. 1860 died 9 April 1948; married 9 Sept. 1879 to Benjamin P. Koehn born 9 Feb 1853, died 10 Jun 1924.
