David Hall - sharpshooter and Indian spy - fought under Col. Benjamin Cleveland in the Revolutionary War's Battle of Kings Mountain and settled in East Tennessee.

He married Obedience Brasel/BraslerBrazeal/Braswell on Jan 20. 1784 in N. C.

6 months in militia, Capt Thomas Witherspoon, John Cleveland, Absalom Cleveland and Eilbern. 2 years Indian spy- Capt Edmund Sab and in expedition against Cherokee under Col. John Sevier.

David's brothers and sisters were Thomas - married Judith Dula/Duly, Elizabeth "Betsy" Hall - married Darby Hendrix, Merri Hall - married Mary Herd, John Hall, Nancy Hall - married James Brasel, Mary Hall - married Julius Dugger, Samuel B Hall - married Letitia Hendrex, Martin Hall - married Chloe Hendrix, Millian " Milly" Hall - married David Lansdown, Judea Hall.
