About David Harnish

David Harnish was born in December 1767. His father was John Jacob Harnish, the eldest son of Martin. According to "The Harnish Friendschaft 1729 1926 Rev Francis", David's mother is unknown. Family Trees have his mother as Barbara Kneisley but she was the wife of a Jacob Harnish that moved to York County and very little information is known about them (according to the Harnish Friendschaft.

David married Elizabeth Groff. Together they had the following children: David Groff Harnish; Martin Harnish; Elizabeth Harnish; Jacob M. Harnish; Catharine Harnish; Fanny (Harnish) Harnish; John Harnish; Michael Groff Harnish; Christian Harnish, (died young); Nancy Harnish; Susanna Harnish; Christian Harnish; Esther Harnish.

He died on August 26, 1845.
