About David Holden Jett

David H. Jett, 79, retired pilot on the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers, died unexpectedly at 11:30 a.m. last Wednesday at his home in Carrollton.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter: Mrs. C. A. Duvall, Smithfield; two grandsons: Dr. C. Allen Duvall, Bardstown and David J. Duvall, Smithfield; one sister: Mrs. Daisy Rankin, Mississippi; two half-sisters: Mrs. Ernest Lewellyn and Mrs. Luther B. Fothergill, both of Carrollton.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by Rev. Roger I. Amason, assisted by Rev. Ralph Louery, at Tandy and Eckler Funeral Home, Carrollton. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Carrollton.
