About David Palmer
David Palmer, Sr. (1693-1774) was born in Greenwich, Connecticut. He was married twice: Elizabeth Hubbard on August 22, 1718, and Sarah Knapp after the death of Elizabeth. I found eleven children’s names attributed to him with David, Jr. (born 1720) being the third child and oldest son. A parcel of land in Stamford was deeded to him by his father. In addition, he had acquired several other plots in Greenwich on his own. He died in Greenwich, Connecticut, having lived a long life of 81 years. In his will, Sarah was named as his widow, confirming the order in which he married his two wives.
