6 February 1552-53: Extract decreet delivered by Patrick Ireland, sheriff depute of Edinburgh, specially constituted, in causa Thomas Levinax [Lennox] in Pluntoun [Plunton] v David Ramsay, son and heir of the deceased William Ramsay of Balmane [Balmangan], for implement of contract, dated 6 November 1544, whereby the said deceased William Ramsay bound himself to sell the 9 merkland of Pluntoun to the said Thomas.
