David Albert Sanders

David Albert Sanders, son of William Sanders and Elizabeth Hunt, pioneers 1850, was born 14 July 1848. Came to Utah with parents in 1856. David Sanders married Lucy Grover (daughter of Thomas Grover and Lodoiska Tupper of Farmington, Utah) on 4 January 1868 at Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Territory, United States. Their home was in Farmington, Utah.

Marriage and Children

Lucy Grover married 4 January 1868, Salt Lake endowment house. She was born 7 January 1849, Farmington, Utah, and was first white child born in Davis county. Their children:

1. Lucy Elizabeth born October 6, 1869, married George A. Hess;
2. Clara Lodoiska born January 20, 1871, married Armond T. Rose;
3. David Albert born February 6, 1873, died aged 2;
4. Mary Ann born September 20, 1875, married George M. Leonard;
5. Frances Eveline born February 3, 1877, married Charles J. Steed;
6. Thomas Grover born August 4, 1878, died infant;
7. Horace Edward born October 11, 1880, died infant;
8. Pearl Adelle born March 30, ____, married Milton L. Lee;
9. Dowe Clarence born April 12, married Laurette Burton;
10. Frank Thatcher born December 17, 1895;
11. Asenath born November 9, died infant;
12. Nellie born July 11, married Clarence Dawson.
