Always been fascinated by travel and languages. Achieved and seen much and travelled the globe extensively over the years. Getting older and enjoying it . Will always regret being in the wrong age / education group to be selected as an astronaut - this planet is not enough; tante pis !

I speak fluent English, Portuguese, German - good Spanish & French and adequate Italian. I tried Mandarin Chinese but ran out of money, time and patience. Currently I translate books and documents from Portuguese and German into English and work with the judiciary, interpreting in court cases where the accused has either bad or no knowledge of the English language.

I was fortunate enough to travel on the 11th. commercial flight of Concorde, Air France from Paris to Rio de Janeiro via Dakar, Senegal for refuelling. An experience I'll never forget. I believe and hope that such a wonderful aircraft will be improved, exceeded and produced in future.
