"Deacon Daniel Putnam, (Amos, John, Nathaniel, John), born in Salem Village, ________; died in Danvers, 13 Nov. 1801; married in Danvers, 27 Mar. 1760; Elizabeth, daughter of Samuel Putnam.

Children, born in Danvers:

  1. Elizabeth, b. 26 Feb. 1761.
  2. Daniel, b. 3 Oct. 1762.
  3. Hannah, b. 16 Mar. 1765.
  4. Phebe, b. 26 Jan. 1767.
  5. Samuel, b. 23 May 1769.
  6. Amos, b. 11 Oct. 1778. Daniel Putnam inherited his father's Danvers and Middleton property. He was a deacon in the North Church at Danvers, and marched to Lexington upon the Alarm, as lieutenant in the company of Capt. Samuel Flint.
