Son of Mary Holly and Michael Troyer of Canada. Known children: John Carlos; Lewis; Carlos Hewit; Hannah Elizabeth(Nelson H. Cole, William Lutz); Deacon William; David Calvin; Mary Catherine "Cassie" (m.Henry Jerome Ferguson); and Charles Spurgeon.
