Born Jan. 2, 1725, this Abraham Howe is buried in Old Linebrook Cemetery, Ipswich, Mass.: FindAGrave.
This Abraham Howe was married to Lucy Appleton in 1752. Son of Abraham and Hepzibah Howe, he served in the American Revolution, and is DAR Patriot #A058205. Record states he served in "MILITIA, LEXINGTON ALARM."
HistoricIpswich.org states that this Abraham Howe "led the Linebrook Minute Men toward Lexington on April 19, 1775."

The Abraham Howe who was married to Elizabeth ___ and had a son called Moses is discussed in Essex Co., Mass. Institute Historical Collections,"Some Descendants of Abraham Howe", page 56. Abraham was the son of Jacob Howe and Eleanor Sherwin, and died at 83 in 1808. Jacob Howe was the son of Isaac Howe (1656-ca 1717) of Roxbury, Mass.
