This Abraham Howe was married to Lucy Appleton in 1752. Son of Abraham and Hepzibah Howe, he served in the American Revolution, and is DAR Patriot #A058205. Record states he served in "MILITIA, LEXINGTON ALARM."

HistoricIpswich.org states that this Abraham Howe "led the Linebrook Minute Men toward Lexington on April 19, 1775."

Abraham was the son of Jacob Howe and Eleanor Sherwin, and died at 83 in 1808. Jacob Howe was the son of Isaac Howe (1656-ca 1717) of Roxbury, Mass.
