He was a shoemaker by trade and had opened up shop in Salisbury, Massachusetts.
He was recorded as receiving land in 1640, 1641, and 1642.
He was a deacon in the local church.
He took the oath of a freeman in 1649.
Between 1642 and 1670 he served almost continually on the
Grand and Trial juries of the Norfolk county courts.
He held the rank of Constable in 1665-1665, 1671-1673.

Henry Brown was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.[1]
Henry was a shoemaker, cordwinder and planter (probably a cordwainer)
by trade and received land in Salisbury, MA, in 1640, 1641, and 1642.
He was made a "freeman" in 1649 and became
a member of the Salisbury, MA church where he was a deacon.
He was constable of Salisbury Essex Co MA 1664, 1665 & 1673;
deputy constable in 1671; commisioner to end small causes (?) 1672 and 1676.
Henry married Abigail (unknown) in 1642 [2]
