John m. July 6, 1699 at Simsbury as her 2nd husband, Sarah Pettibone, dau. of John Pettibone & Sarah Eggleston, and wid. of John Mills. She was b. Sept. 24, 1673 at Windsor, Conn and d. at Simsbury Apr. 3, 1748, Æ 81. They had four children b. of record at Simsbury plus son Rev. Daniel Humphrey who has no recorded birth date but likely was also b. at Simsbury:

• i. Hannah Humphrey, b. Mar. 17, 1700/01, d. Feb. 10, 1787 at Simsbury, Æ 87; m. circa 1722, Joseph Case, Jr., s. of Joseph Case and Anna Eno, b. Feb. 2, 1699/700 at Simsbury. He d. at Simsbury Mar. 12, 1782, Æ 83. Nine children of the family.
