Dea. Jonathan Curtis, Jr. was born on June 28, 1679 in Stratford , Fairfield County, Connecticutt. His parents were Jonathan Curtis and Abigail Thompson.

Jonathan married Hannah Unknown in 1702. Hannah is not the Hannah Coe married to James Curtis. Together they had the following children: Jonas Curtiss; Edmund Curtiss; Josiah Jonah Curtiss; Hannah (Curtis) Bennett; Jonathan Curtis; Sarah Curtiss; Mary Curtis.

Jonathan married Mary Summers in 1718 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. Together they had the following children: Timothy Curtis; Stephen Curtis.

He died on April 20, 1770 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticutt.
