Joseph Snow was born on September 7, 1690 in Bridgewater, Plymouth Colony, New England. Plymouth Colony was joined with Massachusetts Bay Colony the following year.[1]His parents were Joseph Snow and Hopestill Alden. He married Elizabeth Field. Together they had 9 children:

Joseph Snow John Snow Elizabeth Snow Susanna Snow Sarah Snow Daniel Snow James Snow Mary Snow Lydia Snow He died on July 23, 1773 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay, New England, on the eve of the American Revolution.[2] He was buried in North Burial Ground in Providence, Rhode Island.
