Came to Massachusetts Bay in 1635 (on 13 Apr 1635, "Thomas Wells," aged 30, was enrolled at London as a passenger for New England on the Susan & Ellen) & settled in Ipswich MA as a yeoman & husbandman. He was born about 1605. He married by about 1636 Abigail Warner, daughter of William Warner {1635, Ipswich}. They had 8 known children. She died at Ipswich on 22 Jul 1671. He died at Ipswich 26 Oct 1666. No connection has been found between this immigrant and co-passenger Ann Wells. No connection has been found between this immigrant and the Thomas Wells who appeared in Ipswich by about 1660 & married Naomi Marshall. Source: Anderson's Great Migration Study Project.
