Biography

Deborah Royce was born August 10, 1680 in Norwich, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Jonathan Royce and Deborah Caulkins who married June of 1660.<ref name="VRNp33">VR of Norwich: Pages 33</ref>
Deborah Roife married Thomas Stodder December of 1699. They had nine children all born in Norwich, New London, Connecticut: Thomas (Feb 1701-), Joseph (Mar, 1702-), Hannah (Sept, 1703-), Sarah (Jan, 1705-), Deborah (Feb, 1707-), Hezekiah (Feb, 1708-), Solomon (Jan 1711-), David (Ju, 1713-), Moses (May, 1715-).<ref name="VRNp66-67">VR of Norwich: Pages 66-67</ref>

She passed away on 15 Dec 1738 in New London, New London, Connecticut.

LNAB:<ref name="VRNp33" />: Deborah's indexed birth record shows the LNAB for her and her siblings as Roife which is a common mistranscription of "Roise" aka "Royce".rather than change LNAB, I noted these common variants of "Roife" and"Roise" to other last names.
