About Delia Ann Smith
GEDCOM Note
James Baker and his wife Elizabeth Price Baker moved from New York City to Addison County, Vermont in 1805. They had ten children. Six of these children moved to Walworth County, Wisconsin as adults during the 1830's and 1840's. They were George Washington Baker, Delia Ann Baker Smith, Charles Minton Baker, Hannah Caroline Baker Cooper, Stephen Baker and Mary Clarissa Baker Rockwell. James and Elizabeth Baker joined their children in Walworth County in their old age during the 1840's. Elizabeth Price Baker died in 1870 and is probably buried in Oak Hill Cemetery but her grave has not been located. There is a great deal of information about this family in the book "Charles Minton Baker and the Pioneer Trail" published in 1928 and edited by Edward Larrabee Baker.
