Delia Beckley

Mrs. Delia Beckley, 56, of Campbellsburg, wife of Joe Beckley, farmer, was killed instantly by a northbound L. & N. train at 1:20 a.m., Sunday as she attempted to cross the railroad in front of her home to get a Sunday paper from the carrier.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sons: Pvt. Joe Beckley, U.S. Army in Missouri, Claude Beckley, Louisville and Ernest Beckley, Campbellsburg; and one daughter: Mrs. Noble Tingle.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, at the Campbellsburg Baptist Church.
