About Dellas Radford
DELLAS RADFORD
Dellas Radford, 46, Rigby, construction foreman, was killed in plane crash at Huntington, Oregon, Monday.
He was born June 10 1925, at Ririe, the son of Edward and Eva Teeples Radford. He married Vernal Johnson, June 26, 1946, at Dillon, Montana. He was a member of the LDS Church and attended Ririe and Rigby schools.
Mr. Radford was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army in the Pacific Theatre. He had been a carperter, farmer and recentley construction superintendent on Interstate highway construction.
He is survived by his widow, Rigby; the following sons and daughters: Larry Radford of Baker, Oregon; Mrs. John (Patricia) Fowler of American Falls; Mrs. Dennis (Dixie) Crabtree of Lisbon, Connecticut; Mrs. Harold (Connie) Walker of Boise; Colin Radford of Rigby; Mrs. John (Karma) Rutledge, of Ammon; Bret Radford of Rigby; his mother, Mrs. Eva Radford, of Idaho Falls; brothers and sisters: Lorin and Blaine Radford, both of Rigby; Mrs. Lynn (Verda) Richards of Idaho Falls and Mrs. Dean (Theola) McCafferty of Ucon; a nephew, LaVearl Noreen of Idaho Falls; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Rigby 2nd LDS Ward with Bishop Lawrence Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday for 7:30 until 9 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under Eckersell's direction.
