About Dennis Eugene Carlson
Dennis Carlson, age 85, of Fordville, ND, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at First Care Health Center in Park River, ND.
Dennis Eugene Carlson was born May 1, 1929 on the Carlson Family Farm in Cleveland Township, the son of Berent "Ben" and Johanna (Thompson) Carlson. He was raised, grew to manhood and received his education in Cleveland Township. Dennis served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Marlys Corah on October 24, 1954 in Trinity Lutheran Church of Lankin. He was a lifelong resident and farmer in Cleveland Township on the Carlson Family Farm.
Surviving members of his family include his wife; two sons and one daughter; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law: Fedelia Carlson; and brothers: Sheldon Carlson, Carroll Carlson, Urban Carlson and Dorman Carlson
