Dennis Andrew Zimmerly

WOOSTER Dennis A. Zimmerly, 76, of Wooster died Sunday, May 22, 2005, at Glendora Health Care Center. Private services were held today at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691. He was born Jan. 1, 1929, in Kidron to John A. and Helen M. (Weuthrick) Zimmerly. He attended Boone School in Kidron. He then served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Sprosty Bag Company, and then worked as a handyman. He enjoyed making marble lamps and watercolor painting. He is survived by brothers Alvin Zimmerly of Marshallville, Amos (Billie Sue) Zimmerly of Columbus, and Ellis Zimmerly of Wooster, and sisters, C. Jan Henry and Nora Leach, both of Wooster. A brother, Paul Zimmerly and sisters Verna Richwine and O. "Jean" Rowland, died previously.
