He married Hannah Daws, daughter of Elias Daws and Anna (?), at Flatlands, Long Island, New York, on 6 October 1694.2

Derck Jansz Brouwer died circa 1702/3 at Jamaica, Queens Co., Long Island, New York.

He took the Oath of Allegiance in September 1687 at Flatlands, Kings Co., New York, as "Dirck brouwer, native."3

Served in the NY Militia under Maj. Peter Schuyler, 1691-92 during King William's War.4

By a deed dated 25 Sep 1694 (Gravesend Book VI, p.136) Peter Carsten of Cape May in the province of West Jersey, sold to Cornelis Williamsen and Dirck Brower, two "allotments of land lying and being in the limitts and bounds of Gravesend upon Gisberts Island...land received from William Goulding living then in this towne of Gravesend."5

"Derick Brewer & his wife Hannah," with one child are listed among the Dutch Inhabitants of the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island in 1698.6

"Dirrick Brewer of Jamaica and Hendrick Brouwer of Flatlands" sold a house and 75 acres on the borders of Hempstead, Jamaica, and Flushing with a deed of sale dated 22 September 1700 and acknowledged 6 May 1701.2
