Dicy Lott was born Sept 7, 1832 to John Arthur Lott and Sarah Aultman in Covington Co., Mississippi. She married Nathan Lott and the had: Robert, John, William, Nathan, Andrew Jackson, Mary. All but Robert moved to Leesville, Vernon Pa, La. USA area "neutral territory". Dicy married Hyram Mathis when they both became widows. Dicy moved to Texas with some of her children. She is buried in Wells Cemetery, Mayflower, Newton Co., Texas. USA next to her daughter Mary Lott WElls.
