"Dominick Paurazas, Sr.
Dominick Paurazas, Sr., 70, of Glenwood, better known as Nick Powers, died at St. James hospital, Chicago Heights, Friday, April 17.
He was born in Lithuania August 4, 1882 and for the past 32 years was machine shop foreman at the Acme Steel Co., Riverdale.
He leaves three sons Joseph, Dominick Jr., and Anthony; two daughters, Mrs. J. Torba and Mrs. W. Pienta; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, April 20, at 10 a.m. in St. John's church, Glenwood, with Father Kenney officiating." From the Suburbanite Economist, April 29, 1953, page 5
