MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 0 ORWELL, VT. - Donald Herbert Blakely, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, August 28th 1988 at the Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, Vt.

He was born on February 12th 1921 in Rutland, Vt., he was the son of Robert and Lucy (Graver) Blakely.

He grew up in West Tinmouth, Vt. and graduated from Granville, N.Y., High School in 1938.

He married Vera Elizabeth Cooper in 1948. Together they had two children; one son and one daughter.

He was a Dairy Farmer all his life. He Owned and Operated Blakelyacres Farm in Orwell, Vt. at the time of his death.

He was a member of the Holstein-Freisian Association of America, the Farm Bureau, the Vermont Maple Sugar Makers Association, and the First Congregational Church of Orwell, Vt.

He was past master of Independence Lodge No. 10 A&FM. He was vice president of the First National Bank of Orwell, Vt.

He had been a Lister for the Town of Orwell, Vt. for several years.

He was predeceased by his parents, and one son; Robert Walton Blakely in 1977.

Arrangements by the Mallory Funeral Home on 4 South Park Place in Fair Haven, Vt.

A private burial will take place at the Mountain View Cemetery in Orwell, Vt.
