Includes NotesNotes for Donald CAMPBELL: Our Paternal Gr. Grandfather Donald Campbell, the son of Duncan, settled in the Big Pond area. Unfortunately, his wife's maiden name is not known. His daughter Mary Elizabeth, married Angus MacDonald who lived nearby in Middle Cape. This marriage of Angus MacDonald and Mary Campbell was the first between these two families.

Peter MacKenzie Campbell, believed that Donald also had sons, one of whom was called "Big Hector", who settled on Glengary Road. Some of Donald's sons who were blacksmiths by trade were believed to have moved to Glace Bay.
