Mary CAMPBELL (daughter of Duncan CAMPBELL and ? MACINNIS) was born 1805 in Scotland. She married Donald MACKENZIE.

Includes NotesNotes for Mary CAMPBELL: Mary Campbell, my G.G. aunt was born in Scotland in 1805 and her parents came to Canada in 1808. Her early years were spent in Georgeville, Antigonish County among her mother's people the MacInnises, until her family moved to Red Islands when she was about 6 years old. Stephen, the eldest son of Mary and Donald, was born when Mary was about 31. There may have been earlier children. 

Fr. Michael MacKenzie, son of Mary and Donald, was ordained to the priesthood in Quebec on May 28, 1876, the only priest, according to Fr. A. A. Johnston, who was born and brought up in what is now the parish of Johnstown.
