Donald was born September 21, 1930, at Tuttle, North Dakota, to Theodore and Lydia (Merkel) Hoffman. He married Mildred Pfau on April 16, 1956.
He is survived by one son, Dale, Bismarck; two sisters, Sharon (Tom) Eckroth, Bismarck, and Shirley Geiss, Summner, Washington; and one brother, Bobby Hoffman, Kent, Washington.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred; two brothers Willis and Arvid Hoffman; and sister, Fern Kline.
