Donald Vincent Gray

Donald Vincent Gray was born to Carl and Annabelle Gray on April 6, 1912
His mother died of a brain hemmorhage when she was 42 and his dad remairried Zalia. I remember Grandma Gray. She had a Canary in her parlor and I used to lay in her lap and listen to her talk on the phone. They lived on a big farm in Milton Jct., Wis. and had a many cows and pigs and a blind horse that ran loose and scared me to death! Gpa had a big windmill next to the pumphouse that made a lot of racket. I used to get in the wheat bin and slide down the wheat for fun. Gma had lots of chickens that made dust nests under the outside screened-in porch and took dust baths under there. Gpa had a black Model-T pickup that he loaded up with Mushmelons and sold them.His middle finger was stiff and he couldn't bend it. Gma Zalia always made all kinds of candies for Thanksgiving family dinners and she had a miniature wooden windmill in her yard.

Lucy Dawn Gray was born on March 25, 1938

Brad and family went to visit him before he died. He had lost one leg here because of diabetes.
