Dora Keeper

Dorothy was born in Shell Valley Manitoba. When her Mom passes away, she quit school, to look after her siblings. Once of age, she moved to Thunder Bay with her sister Rose, then to Sudbury. After getting married, she worked in various restaurants, as waitress. Then got into the taxi business, and was dispatcher and bookkeeper. After many years in the business, she retired to travel. After Dad passed away, she bought a place in Ft. Lauderdale, and used to down there for the winters. Horse racing, dinners out, and dancing were among her favs. She enjoys baseball, bowling, and played both in younger years. Needlepoint, cooking, and being right, were also among her talents. She is a very strong minded person, and if she doesnt think, you are doing the right thing, she will let you know. She is very family oriented, and her grandkids are all special to her in their own way. She will give you the shirt off her back, if you needed it, and not complain! With her diabetis, and heart issues, she struggles daily to overcome health issues. And on her good days, you'll find her getting her hair done, going out for dinner, then BINGO.
