DORIS LODIE KAVANAUGH:
Doris Lodie Kavanaugh born June 8, 1902; died Saturday, March 12, 1988 at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, La. after a brief illness. Services were held Sunday, March 13, 1988 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston with Rev. Chris Andrews officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston, La. Lodie was a retired school teacher and an insurance agent. A native of Jackson Parish, she lived most of her life in Shreveport, but had resided in Ruston for the past 20 years. Lodie was a member of the DAR, Cosmos Club, and United Methodist Women. She was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and was head cheerleader there in the 1920's.

DORIS LODIE KAVANAUGH HOOD BROWN - She married (1) MALCOLM HOOD. He was born July 23, 1895, and died March 07, 1974. She married (2) GEORGE S. BROWN 1922 in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. He was born April 20, 1901 in Glenville, Arkansas, and died May 10, 1966 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
