Obituary: Kildow, Doris E. 86 Elizabeth Township Doris E. Kildow, 86, of Elizabeth Township, died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. She was born May 9, 1926, in Elrama, and was a daughter of the late William and Mabel Forsha McCormick. She was the loyal and devoted wife and friend of the late Robert E. Kildow, who died Nov. 9, 2007. Doris and Bob were avid roller skaters, and were married for 60 years. Doris was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Clairton Congregation, and was a retired bookkeeper for General Tire and Rubber Co. She is survived by her sister, Helen (Harry) Phillips, of Aston Township; brother, Kenneth "Skip" (Jackie) McCormick of Blaine Hill; special niece, Joyce Withers Newmeyer, of Elizabeth; many other nieces and nephews; and many spiritual brothers, sisters and children. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary McCormick Barton; and brother, William "Boots" McCormick. There is no visitation. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1075 Camp Hollow Road, West Mifflin, with Martin Dawson officiating. Private inurnment will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Arrangements are by the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township.
