About Doris Mae Wienand
According to Joan Maureen Pautz (Pretoria, South Africa, 19 Dec 2006) Caroline Catherine Wright had a brother named Joe (Joseph?) who had a dauger Thora. The latter was of a similar age to Olga Joyce Schmidt. Joan thinks that she also had two sisters - one lived on the Quigney in East London and the other in central Johannesburg. When CC Pautz died all her furniture came to the home of Joan and Beau Pautz in Pretoria. This included a brass table on a wooden trellis and a chair. One afternoon CC Pautz's sister from Johannesburg arrived, saying that she had come to collect the table and chair, insisting that they were hers. Joan and Beau sumbitted and she disappeared with the loot. Joan thinks that her surname began with a W and that her first name may have been Dorothy.
According to Joan Maureen Pautz (Pretoria, South Africa, 8 March 2009) Caroline Catherine had four siblings (as far as we can ascertain): William Herbert WRIGHT (known as Joe), Cyril WRIGHT, Doris WRIGHT and "Tiny" WRIGHT (who was married to Minden NN and lived in Johannesburg). Joan thinks that Joe had a daughter by the name of Thora. The Wrights owned the wagon works in Alexandra Road, King William's Town.
