Dorothy Bodkin

Mother of Sir Cliff Richard, pop star of the late 1950s and early 1960s, Anglo-Indian Dorothy Bodkin met and married Rodger Oscar Webb who was 17 years her senior in India. The two met while Webb was working for the Indian Railways. Webb died in 1961. After his death, she married Derek Bodkin, Sir Cliff's former chauffeur and odd-job man. The marriage ended in divorce. She has three other children, daughters, with Webb; Donella, Jacqueline and Joan. Bodkin was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2004 and passed away on October 16, 2007.
