Biography

Dorothy Honywood, youngest daughter of Robert Honywood Esq and his wife Mary Atwater, was baptised on 30 July 1569 in Charing, Kent, England. [1]

Marriage

In 1591, at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, Dorothy Honywood married [2] William Croke, youngest son of Sir John Croke of Chilton, Buckingshire and his wife Elizabeth Unton. [3] [4]

Children of their marriage were:

2. Edward - 11 February 1602; died young

As William Croke and his wife Dorothy Croke lived until 1642, it is not possible that Dorothy then married Henry Thompson in 1589. As Henry Thompson died in 1648, it is not possible that Dorothy then married William Croke. As Dorothy Croke was buried in Chilton with William Croke, it is not possible that she was buried at Lenham with Henry Thomson five years later.
