About Douglas Corrigan
Aviator, American Folk Figure. Known as "Wrong Way" Corrigan, he was an early American aviator, engineer and flying pioneer. He gained his moniker in July 1938 when he flew from Brooklyn, New York's Floyd Bennett Field to Ireland when he intended to actually fly to California.
