About Dr. Anthony Pathmanathan Sandrasagra
Dr. Yves Christopher of Melbourne, Australia remembers Dr. A. P Sandrasagra with reverence, fondness, and gratitude. Dr. A.P with Dr. Yves' mother's brother, or his uncle. He very carefully took Yves under his wing, advicing, being present, and witnessing his progress. Dr. AP went to Jaffna when he was stationed in Colombo to pick up his sister's boy so that he could continue his education without the stress of the rioting and civil war disturbing him. He was my grand mother Lena's favourite brother and she was laid to rest with him upon her death. Dr. Yves went looking for their graves in Kanattha but could not find them.
