About Dr Emily Rhoads Trego
Emily is not buried in Westminster. Her name and date appear on the cenotaph her daughter installed next to Wm. Trego's grave, but cemetery records indicate that Emily is not buried there. Her burial place is unknown. Jonathan and his second wife Delia are buried in the Anthony Dever vault higher up the hill. The daughter put the three names and dates on the cenotaph because her husband Anthony Dever would not permit any name on his vault but his own so it was the only way she could memorialize her parents and step mother.
