About Dr. Felix Otto Störk
Wikipedia tells us that Felix Stoerk was born in 1851 in Ofen (part of Budapest) and studied law at the University of Vienna. On July 20, 1875 he received his PhD. After further studies in Berlin (1877) and Paris (1878) he was took the habilitation in Vienna in 1881. A year later he was appointed Associate Professor of Public Law and International Law, Legal History and Philosophy of Law at the University of Greifswald. From 1886 he worked with Paul Laband as co-editor of the journal Archives of Public Law; the same year he was promoted to Full Professor. Two years later he became a member of the Institut de Droit international (Institute of International Law), serving temporarily as its vice president. The focus of his scientific activity covered include the law of the sea and maritime law, and law relating to aliens. Felix Stoerkdied in 1908 in Greifswald. His brother was the laryngologist Karl Stoerk.
