About Dr. Francis Bowes Sayre
Son of Rev. John Sayre and Mary Bowes. He graduated from the Univ. of Pennsylvania in 1790 as a medical doctor. He died of yellow fever while caring for patients of the same epidemic. The headstone is not the original.
