On Tuesday, January 23, 2007, from Black Diamond Ranch, Lecanto FL, formerly of Chevy Chase, MD. He leaves his loving wife Patricia Pope Walker; seven children, Elizabeth Walker Lamond, Louise Walker Rose, Margaret Walker Matthews, Jennifer Walker Kitchens, John C Walker IV, William Leahy Walker, Susan Walker Gilday and Pat's children Nicholas and Christopher Mandrich. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 3 Chevy Chase Circle, Thursday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery College Foundation for the Helen C Walker Memorial Scholarship, Montgomery College, 900 Hungerford Dr, Rockville, MD 20850.
