About Dr. Jonathan Zizmor
Jonathan Zizmor (born 1945) is an American dermatologist in New York City famous for his television commercials and prolific, colorful subway ads promising that "Now you can have beautiful clear skin!"
Zizmor was born to Julius and Felice Zizmor and grew up in New York City.
Zizmor has authored seven books on skin care, including Dr. Zizmor's Skin Care Book and Dr. Zizmor's Guide To Clearer Skin.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Golding of New York, is with the Columbia Broadcasting System as an administrator of publicity for Columbia Records in New York. Her husband's parents are Mrs. Norbert Flaks of New York and Julius Zizmor of New York and Lido Beach, L. I. He is a visiting fellow in dermatology at the Vanderbilt Clinic of the Columbia‐Presbyterian Medical Center and a captain in the National Guard.
Mrs. Zizmor's father is the owner of Golding Associates Textile Company, and her maternal grandfather, the late Harry Herskowitz, was former Chief of Audit of the Internal. Revenue Service in New York. The bride's paternal grandfather, the late Simon Golding, was a founder of the textile firm of Golding Bros., now a subsidiary of W. R. Grace & Co.
She attended the Calhoun School and graduated from the University of Bridgeport.
Dr. Zizmor received an A.B. degree from New York University and graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has been a resident in dermatology at the N.Y.U. Bellevue Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital, and plans to complete his third‐year residency at N.Y.U. His father is a lawyer, and his stepfather is president of the Convertible Manufacturing Center, a retail furniture store here.
