About Dr. Nathaniel Pendleton Dandridge
Dr. Nathaniel Pendelton Dandridge, eldest son of Dr. Alexander Spotswood Dandridge and Martha Eliza Pendleton, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, April 16, 1846, and died in the city of his birth, November 6, 1910. He first attended Brookes Classical School, Cincinnati, and graduated from Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio, in 1866. In 1867 he went abroad and pursued coursed in the hospitals of Paris and in Vienna schools of Medicine. He returned to the US and entered the College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York City, and graduated with a M.D>, class of 1869. In 1872, he was made pathologist to the Cincinnati Hospital. In June 1910, shortly before his passing, he resigned from the staff to accept position on the board of medical directors.
