Dr Pedro Torralba Bago

Lolo Dr Pedro Torralba Bago is the family's first doctor of Medicine

His older sister Dr Maria Bago Lim (doctor of education) helped sent him to school.

He belongs to the first graduating class of FEU Institute of Medicine and he is the first batch of general surgeons trained in FEU Hospital.

His family relocated to San Francisco California in the 60s but his heart remained in the Philippines His always advise was: stay in the Philippines and serve.

His advise remained in my heart, and thus, when I was invited to a Pediatrics residency training in Boston USA, I refused and accepted a Neurosurgery position in UPPGH After my residency, I went back to Ibaan -built a hospital to serve.

When he passed away, his remains was brought back to Ibaan where he always belonged. He lies with his parents, Francisco and Agrifina at the Ibaan Municipal Cemetery.
