WE regret to learn of the very serious illness of Dr. S. A. Hirsch, Emeritus Professor of Jews' College, who was removed to the Willesden Cottage Hospital last Friday. Upon enquiry, before going to press, we were informed that Dr. Hirsch, who is in his eighty-first year, was in a critical condition.
